• R.I.P Jean Rattery who sadly passed away 15th May 2006
• The legendary,red-faced,white-haired omega loving jakie known to all as 'Shwally' That laddie called Tiffy is awfy good in the high street. See him busking alongside Mikey Cowan and other local characters.
• jean rattary is by far the most entertainin alcy there is! lol she is always fallin allover the place giv the abuse at those who wont giv her their money! guaranteed a laugh between the post office and the bank of scotland on south st!
• Jean Rattery, definately the oldest looney in Perth but you gotta love her!!
• That guy who plays the sax is a legend!
• There's always that really loud Peruvian Pan-pipes band that travels through every now & then, and there's a bonny lassie called Michelle who's drawing a good busking reputation.

• Good old Jeanie. Shits up Danscot close, pulls innocent passers by's sunglasses of their faces, fights the Big Issue sellers and that's before she goes to the DSS for her daily crate of Carlsberg Super Strength.....catch her on a sober day and she can be quite a charmer...catch her when she's blootered and prepare for the worst hallitosis since John went down on Edwina
• Always Big Issue, but in Spring and Summer many buskers, street musicians..great atmosphere for Saturday shopping.
• Jean Rattrey, the reids and the big mental hardcore saxophone guy
• jason...the one an olnt best busker in perth...altho hes recently been kicked off by the police....let him back on please!!! hes cool
• The guy who plays sax outside BhS is a true testament to Perth music!! And there's always some posh viruoso competing with him outside Markies!!!!
• The accordian man ootside Woolies. He was on TV once. Dead now I think.
• Surely Perth's most famous jakey is Nicky Firbairn's widow?

• the sk8ers are always good to watch, Mad max is is good to watch all he does is beggs for money
• Umm mostly nice people quite a few with talent but not pretty people.
• Perths much loved down-and-out Jean Ratterie is not dead-- she's simply trying to pick herself up out of the gutter and get a fresh start in life! She might not play an instrument but watching her get booted out of RS McColls for stealing fags, throw up all over her top and then sit in the middle of the crossroads at Mill/Kinnoul Street is always worth a bit of your charity!
• Go down to Muirton on a Saturday night with yer crash helmet on and watch all the minks tryin' to set fire to each other- guaranteed entertainment!
• Willie Nelson's errant cousins busk on the High Street, then there's everybody's favourite irritation Jean the Jakey
• Scott Street
• That man (is he blind?) with the keyboard on the High st outside Frasers
