  • Guitarist The Rev from punk rock band "Towers of London" was brought up in Petersborough. There are videoclips circulating the net showing him beating up a chav in Petersborough town centre.
  • Gizz Butt, that guy from whatever it was. Uhh the guy from Erasure. Can't forget 'Helen the Horse', our Labour MP.

  • Cat Stevens (three hit wonder from the 60s with "I love my Dog", "Matthew and Son" and "Morning has Broken"). Became a Moslem, moved to Peterborough in the 70s and changed his name to Yussuf Islam. Lived down Cromwell Road somewhere - probably still does. He appears to be still going strong. According to his fan site he's scheduled to play in South Africa at the end of November 2003 with Bono, Peter Gabriel and others at a fund-raising concert for Aids victims in front of Nelson Mandela.
  • sid owen lives down the road in alconbury and has been seen in tesco extra. middlesborough footballer malcolm christie is from deeping. andy bell(end) from erasure, keith from prodigy used to go jack hunt school. ernie wise lived here and used to support the posh, helen clark the mp, ugliest woman in the world
  • sid owen lives in alconbury at the other end of the A1M. sarah cawood, andy bell from erasure he thinks peterboro is more scary than detroit, keith from prodigy, malcolm christie who plays for middlesbrough is often seen in liquid acting like a twat

  • Most famous dead resident is Ann Boleyn buried in the Cathedral, Simon Davies and Matthew Etherington (spurs) played for Posh a few years ago and David Seaman also played for our local team, Barry Fry Posh manager
