- Live Music has shut down so you will only find musical instruments and the largest selection of sheet music in Peterborough Music now, which is infact still open and has had a refurb and new management a couple of years back.
- Triangle on Lincoln Road has Live Music which is a general instrument shop. You can get your drum skins and guitar strings as well as instruments and sheet music. Staff are cool, not the greatest but better than the mugs in peterborough music near the market (I think they shut down as well actually). John Hare is an electrical guitar repair specialist, he's kicking around somewhere near the triangle as well. Haven't seen him for a few years though.

- Peterborough music shop has just been refurbished and sells loads more guitars and at a cheaper price than live, but live is better for Drums
- under the market car park but it looks crap
- They're all crap in Peterborough. There's only one - Wisbech Music Centre, Wisbech. Vastly superior range of guitars, equipment etc...
- Peterborough Music - friendly and lots of sheet music. Just found it's better priced than Live Music Shop.
- Live Records on Lincoln Rd, but its quite a way out of town. Stamford Music shop is near the market.
- The Live Music Shop,now under new management and friendly as a rampant poodle.
- Styx closed some years ago. Live Music, Lincoln Road, Peterborough is now best.
- Live Lincoln rd, sells loads of guitairs at resonable prices
- Stamford Music Shop is great as long as you don't need to buy anything musically related.
