- liquid refreshment buildings that serve intoxicating liquids so that by the end of the night we are too pissed to care where we buy our takeaway from
- The Bogs in Ugie Park. Did you know that they once staged a sex show? I bet u didn't! Cops and everything, innit? So close to the sea, too. They aren't alarmed, so they're a good place to break in when you're locked out of the squat sometimes. The floor's pretty hard, but there's a skylight at the top . . . a crowbar usually does the trick.

- Arbuthnot House - went there one night a long time ago for a Reception for our exchange town in Germany. Trouble is local people don't really get to see it as it is used by the Local Council.

- central school is rather purdee
- Definately NOT the academy, no really nice buildings.
- The place I would like to mention is not actually located in the town...and in fact is probably near demolished already...cause I know it was when I stayed there!...the place I refer to is Ravenscraig Castle (nae much of a castle...and probably just a pile of bricks now)...I think of it as one of those quiet spots by the banks of the Ugie a place for meditation and quiet reflection...but needless to say...its probably nae even there now!
