Record Shops in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire*

The places where you buy your music

You can tell us more about Peterhead.

Record Shops
  • walter alans
  • Billy Sangsters hoose is like a record store hes got some goos shit there
  • woolworths or wh smith for cd's
  • Dreg's
  • Woolworths is the nearest thing you could call a record shop for new stuff... BUT WAIT..... LO try the little second hand record shop - does swaps...
  • Go te aberdeen virgin
  • Dregs music, the boy has athing. From this day to 1950+. Wollies is your next best bet. U can try the ''buy before u try'' before u by in Wollies also, which is a great attraction.
  • 1UP, HMV etc
  • Go to Fopp in Aberdeen. Peterhead doesn't even know what good music is outside of Oasis and DJ Sammy so it doesn't really need a record shop.
  • There is no such thing in peterhead. Try Aberdeen.
  • None but if you want 1 - WH smiths or Woolies
  • dont b silly a charity shop may have a few oldies
  • Used to be good in the old days - freaky Pete's is sadly missed. Just the usual Woolies and WHSmith chart garbage these days
  • Yules doesnt sell records or cds anymore!!
  • Records are so outdated that CD's and minidiscs are the future. Peterhead still lives in the past as Yules continues to sell records. However, woolworths and wh smith have managed to grapp the attention of the peterhead community by selling cd's and minidiscs. Though decent music can only be found in aberdeen.
  • I don't think there are any. WH Smith is the only other place. Aberdeen is the place to go.
  • Woolie occasionally have a decent cd as album of the week.
  • craig-grants record store - full of top music from green day , placebo, radiohead, mansoon, yellow sundays(depressed band)
  • well W.H Smith is pants. So There is only woolies left
  • Yules, the last bastion of independent music (?) stores, is finally giving up the ghost and packing in the old CDs. Mind you, I got a little pissed off with the vacuous disinterest of the young, nailfiling, bimbo assistants over the years since Beatrice and Flo packed it in anyway, so it's probably just as well. They only stocked records by three artists you'd have heard of anyway and one of them was RUNRIG!!
  • john menzies is now wh smith and you cant buy singles anymore and yules is stopping selling music so woolies is the only place left
  • Yules have the best selection and Menzies also have a good choice
  • Record shops don't exist in Peterhead anymore. Yules used to be OK.
  • Woolworths crap selection and a 10 year old selection at Justrite.
