- Erica Rowe: Famous streaker (I think an England/Scotland Rugby match in the 70's) worked in a travel agency in Petersfield. Worth keeping an eye out for.
- Daniel Day Lewis' mum still lives in the posh suburby bit. Oh and I heard a rumoour about Angus Deatons parents living near by too.Wow it just celebrity packed!
- Mini Driver went to school at Bedales and Rory Bremner used to live in West Meon..just outside Petersfield
- The bloke that did the programme with Dusty Bin and the 3-2-1 thing with his fingers lives in or around Petersfield (sorry I can't remember his name)
- Well, Petersfield really is a hotbed of talent, past and present. Daniel Day Lewis went to school at Bedales, Tim Rodber (England rugby team) grew up here, and Alec Guinness lives in the area. There were also rumours that a member of Duran Duran lives in a house overlooking the Heath, but hey - there's a limit to how many celebrities one town can hold?
- Another famous connection? They used to tell me that Gray's Elegy was written in Steep churchyard. But since then, I've heard the rumour denied...
- Can't leave this one out - the old caretaker from Grange Hill is still resident...
