Skateboarding Spots
  • The skateboard park is a great place to hang around with your mates and it is a great place to play truth and dare and get away from your parents.
  • Ok, seriously.. why are people saying there is stuff to skate in petersfield??? I've lived there for about 6 years and there is NOTHING!!! If you want to go back to the depressing days of skateboarding on curbs, then maybe it is ok... anything else and there is fuck all. Skatepark = A JOKE, Council = COCKS, Spots = NON-EXISTANT. My advise is to get on a train and head up to London! Or, build something for yourself and piss off all your neighbours who will tell you there is a "perfectly decent skatepark down the road" to which you should reply "fuck off you old bitch, that skatepark is about as fun as having your leg cut off witha rusty spoon." I think i have made my point.
  • do not smachthe sk8 parks up
  • jumps near sheet in the woods which the council hate
  • Waitrose carpark-petersfield skatepark- taro leisure centre car park- the industrail estate-
  • Ok, lets get this straight... the skatepark sucks! Horrible shiny metal, the most dangerous rail ever devised by anyone (a few mm off and your ribs are gonna pay the consequences). Infact the only good thing there is the mini for ramp skaters although its always packed with dick-head BMXers and the diag, but you can only go off one side of it. I bet the council payed the last guy to say it was good. If you like street and live more than 5 miles away, dont go there! I've seen so many people come and leave within 10 minutes. The council wont respond to our letters with cheap improvements so that shows how stuck up they are. Anway in summary i could build a better skatepark with one piece of plywood, a crate and some angle iron. Oh yeah one more thing.. the council recently spent 8000 (apparantly) on a path to the skatepark, nice one, maybe i'll just skate that.
  • Waitrose car park brilliant all year round a big load of kerbs AND a couple of rails, Again I'll say the sk8 park great in summer long days, good social evenings but cold wet and dark in winter
  • The skatepark is pretty good, nice wide wooden mini ramp, about 4-5 ft so its a good size for stuff, and its a nice shape. Behind that there is a 15ft double kinked round rail with just about enough run up to do, a weird but amazing upside down V shaped ramp thing, everything you pop on that is clean as hell and you normally clear the landing with your trick but its soooo nice....ALso they have a big long driveway with a curb height double rail across the whole thing in the middle, with big qurters either side so you get some mean speed to try and clear the top. NOt a lot of space though is the only thing, but the park for the size is damn good, I've been to a lot worse..... By Macdonalds on the edge of town is an industrial estate with a few things,if you're actually any good you won't want to bother going there, its mostly crap and skanky surfaes, but up to you. I saw a six set (?) at the train station that looked kinda nice, not sure about run up though and I bet there's a bust on that. Nice wide steps though with smooth landing (not much of it though, one side goes into a fence but there's plenty for most stuff to be landed nicely). And that's all....Few things ion waitrose carpark, wee islands and stuff but nothing to make you want to go. And the square is crap crap crap. Oh and watch for the police, they pulled me and my mate over twice in one night when we went out, and they came up the park too...QUite friendly though.
  • The park by the footie club, okay, not amazing but skateable.
  • The skate ramp it is way phat .
  • Average little market town, but the new carpark and shopping 'mall' are good enough. Beware of the 5-0 (they get bored, and then unpleasant), and drunks at the nearby kebab van at night (also, the kebab there will give you the shits for ages!! If you like kebab, go to the van in Haslemere. It rules.)
  • The oldies at the town hall are about to build one - 21st century or what?
