Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • Goodbodies In Mutley Plain is open 24/7 and does a great hangover full english brekkie, really popular with students and backpackers , Costa Coffee in the Mall, Starbucks in the Mall, Oggy Oggy Pasty shop they are great seriously try one
  • The Knackered Pilgrim on the Barbican
  • ON THE BARBICAN
  • Nowt but crap chains like starbucks, cafe nero and costa. But again if you head down to the Barbican you have Chocaccino's fully independent choco cafe. Also The Blue Bananna in Cornwall st is supposed to be good.
  • The Canadian Muffin Cafe (or Parlour, i mean it just sounds better) on the central stretch of town, near the Sainsbury's arcade does great tasty fresh bran muffins of many varying flavours. Can even get a doggy bag if its too much for you, and trust me it is pretty filling!
  • The Muffin Company near The Armada Centre.
  • joint cafe, and snack attack for the cheapest brekky in town
  • The Art Garden Cafe has sadly shut down so there is nowhere left except Hobbs.
  • Hobbs Coffee shop is really good. There are several of them in plymouth. One of them has been demolished at the minute as it stands in the way of the new mall they are building, however, it is spose to be rebuilt as part of the new mall, good news!.
  • Hobbs Coffee Shop in Mayflower street, great food, reasonable prices, fantastic coffee and they even supply newspapers to read while you lounge on the leather sofas.
  • Plymouth Arts Centre.
  • The Joint at the top of North Hill.
  • Top of North Hill - Cool coffee shop and sandwich bar - can't remember the name.
  • Dingles cafe 1st floor...worked there for a yr....the nicest peopleand the nicest food and drinks...although iut may seem expensive its more than worth it...also more classier than the restaurant...that seems to have got alot more common considering its dingles
  • Lorenzo's rocks, and the coffee at Cuba used to be nice. Cafe rouge is cool as well, but more expensive. The new player in town is Bar D'Azure.
  • Drakes Bakery, in Marlborough Street Devonport. Excellent place to eat and drink. Love it! Friendly staff, and nice atmosphere.
  • ooooo, Hobbs is the best! And also Cafe Venue, Cafe Rouge and this other one which i cant remember but its next to BLUE clothes shop
  • Hobs Chocolate!!!!!! And there is also this nice little place near Blue, but cant finl of the name
  • MAcDONALDS , MAcDONALDS AND BURGER KING
  • In the armarda centre, there is plenty of cafes/coffee shops.
  • Caffiene club is cool... ask for a pint of hot chocolate with cadburys flake in it. I prefered it before the surf-style make-over though.
  • BoardRiders, immense coffee, behind the library opposite Little Mexico
  • Cafe Rouge is a bit cool but also a bit dear!! Try Dingles - nice view.
