  • Maestro's on Ebrington Street. They sell stringed (violins etc) instruments, brass, woodwind, guitars (classic & acoustic), sheet music and other instruments. If you're a beginner, they've got access to qualified teachers. Got my violin outfit from them.
  • Vibes - some excellent and nice looking guitars there, drums and found some amazing synthesizers there in the past.

  • If you are at Plymouth University, join the Music Society during fresher's week. Its free and you get 10% off instruments at Vibe which is a little music store on the street down to Sainsburys.

  • - For guitarists go to vibes in town, or to griffin's at the top of mutley plain. griffins is a specialist guitar shop, nice friendly staff (except nick)

  • VIBES is the only place i know! And theres a music book shop just down the road from it.
