  • Music and Video Exchange (adjacent to Plymouth Market and Frankfort Gate) - I have found hidden gems here every time I have visited this shop. There seems to be a wealth of Old Skool Dance here for only £2 or £3! Newer releases are nice and cheap too!
  • Bigga records is near bretonside bus station,on looe st opposite the arts centre, they sell drum and bass, trance ,hardcore,hip hop,breakbeat,funk, jazz and also dj tools.

  • Go to Different Class in Frankfurt Gate, it's small but lovely and John and Neil are both very helpful and willing to order in CDs.
  • Needle To The Groove Records specialists in House Music... also stocking Trance, Hardstyle... plus online store for those how don't like to go out :)
  • If you're a student just go to HMV, theres a big one here in plymouth and you get a good discount with NUS.
  • Bigga Records provides hip hop, d&b, breakbeat, reggae and more - awesome shop
  • Different Class down Frankfurt Gate is pretty decent

  • Really Good is the best, Mike is such a nice guy, everything from Dub to Death In June. Neil and Spaceman John's Different Class is also ace.

  • Virgin Megastore is good enough for me. I always visit it _before_ HMV. Purple Haze is more of a collectors record store.
