  • Plymouth Athletics Club at The Brickfields in Plymouth.
  • Plymouth Uni has very limited sports facilities - we have to use the college's indoor football and swimming pool facilities over on Mutley plain. I advise against applying to Plymouth if you are an uber-keen sports person, unless that sport is surfing or sailing or something, because we really don't have much. The pavillions do have an awesome ice-rink and swimming pool, however. And the swimming pool is right enxt to a wetherspoons so as soon as you've burnt off all those calories in the pool you can go and pie on burgers and chips.
  • RIB Rides from the Barbican. This is probably the most fun you can have legally. A small white boat with a massive engine (and orange flag!) powers you headlong out to sea into huge waves around Plymouth's coastline. Be prepared to get seriously wet.
  • Bodybording rules in the southwest, get a map and go for a search don't just go to the main spots.
  • Plymouth Argyle's ground adjoining Central Park.
  • Wrestling - John Harding(me) is still wrestling for All Star and EWF(Elite Wrestling Federation) still touring all over england when not working at c103!
  • Plymouth Argyle, Central Park Swimming Pool, the new outdoor swimming pool complex near The Hoe.
  • Plymouth Argyle f.c about to become a big club agin!
  • The Greens are at the top of Two and four points clear! Home Park is right pricey, but you could always check out Saltash United for proper local football.
  • Plymouth Ski Centre has one of the biggest and steepest slopes. There are two very short slopes which are good for beginners. As an intermediate I've outgrown these ones but I don't feel ready for the large slope. I would like to see a longer less steep slope there as well. I do love the restaurant and tobaggon run there.
  • a big shout out to the plymouth chess club! (Chess isn't boring.....honest!)
  • Cannons in warner village and devonshire health and racket - expensive but soooo nice!!
  • Marjons... much smaller than the poly, but still beat them in everything. Ha.
