• Charves' roam the area at any time between 5pm and 10pm. The main bus stop (in front of the Pele Tower) is popular, but the one at the corner of Main Street and Darras Road is far worse and to be avoided. Also try to avoid the path between this bus stop and behind Safeway and the Memorial Hall during darkness Broadway (a mile and a half up Darras Road from Main Street)- and the benches. If a little more privacy is desired, the alley between the garage and the restuarant on Broadway, and also behind the shops and the path that leads behind the Drey are favourites. Elsewhere in the village, the darker areas of the Park especially near the river- I'm not sure if they rope over the River Pont is still there though Merton Way shops if you live nearer that area (near the Fish & Chip shop)
• another spot where 2 hang out his broadway shops this is not a personal attack but u r critisising all youths in ponteland and the police no about the drugs and drink but they don't care if there is a bit of cannabis going around or if ur just having a couple of beers as long as we dont disturb people and the majority dont the care about ectasy and hard drugs like that but please u r insulting me and my friends please email me with ur reply and this isn't meant to be a personal attack
• The Diamond Inn is a good meeting point. There are also the Black Bird Inn and The Three Stars.
• Usually seen hanging around the bus stop on Main Street
