Pubs
- The Diamond (right in the middle of Pont, can't miss it) is full of Darras Hall types, (loaded snobs, some might say), just look at the car park, but if you drive a BMW X5 / Mercedes S-Class or similar, or just want to try mixing it with Northumberland's most wealthy... it's your place.
The Blackbird (on North Road... follow signs for Police Headquarters)- a more down-to-earth and mixed crowd.
The Seven Stars (Main Street, opposite Pele Tower) - Ponteland's most vibrant and youngest pub. Most of the clientele are under thirty, occasional live music... completely packed on a Friday night, great atmosphere and a real mix of people. Excellent staff as well

- The Diamond Inn, the Black Bird Inn and The Three Stars. The Badger Pub is of a high quality and also includes a family restaurant which serves good quality food
