  Growin up in the Port wae hud hunners a snow every year, Gritters were oot, snow plough wis oot, midnight mulk deliveries innat & main bus routes cleared, nae fuss ataw. Everywan went tae work & school, If thur wis nae bus ye walked.... ;o)

  Ye cannae beat a cauld dry winter. Ah don't mind the cauld, ye kin wrap up fur it! Okay, so we got lots o snow. Except fur that last lot 2 weeks ago thats still tryin tae melt, it's been no bad. It beat pishin rain any day o the week!

  In wee school they yossti send us hame when it snowed. In high school we yoosti huv tae get the bus tae Greenock an when it snowed the buses couldnae get up Dumfrochar road, so we stayed at hame. Snow wiz great!

  like you said if the busses DID go aff you had to walk to school then to work when you got older, we get snow every year but as you said Liz the eegits come out and clear aff the shelves like they are never gonna get out tae the shops again so friggen stupid
