- plenty of pubs in portchester, the seagull is one for the quiet good atmosphere and have nice food, but younger 18-24 usually go to the red lion, which has problems alot, although has been refunished recently and looks nice in there!...other than them the coromrant (castle), wicor mill, white hart, linden lea...make up the rest of them, with a working mens club for all those lucky OAP's out there!
- How things change... Red lion in Portchester has done wonders over the last 3 years, and is now one of the most popular pubs in the area for both food and drink.
- Best...Cormorant in Castle Street
Worst...Red Lion in the precinct (motto "please do not ask to be served as a punch in the mouth often offends")
