• The Troggs don't realise that Finnegans chip shop is bettee than Beales and the portions are twice the size. Most of them can't be bothered walking up that very slight hill or driving their shopmobility's up there.
• Anywhere you can manage to get in, eat and get out quick without them seeing you go
• The ONLY PLACE TO GO for fish and chips is FINNEGAN'S at STATION HILL. The food here is better than ANY other in Porthcawl. Chips and gravy to die for , monster fish with no scabby bones or skin like Beals and the girls are really pretty that serve you

• GREAT FOOD BY THE FUN FAIR CALLED THE BLUE DOLPHIN . WHIPE YOU FEET ON THE WAY OUT!
• i would just like to say that Fulgoni's icecream is the nicest in Porthcawl and whoever wrote that it is a flea pit needs to get a life (and taste)
• Burgerking Of course... If you want a Macdonalds it's six miles up the road (and if you go in and ask for a Big Mac, the staff will give you directions, and 'point' you int he right direction.)

• good chipe in john street but beware the chips are sometimes hard
• GENERALLY AWFUL, AS IS MOST RESTAURANT FOOD IN BRITAIN, REALLY. EXCEPTION, SUNDAY CARVERY AT ROSE AND CROWN
• SIDOLI'S ON NEW ROAD AND MARY STREET DO THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN PORTHCAWL

• The Burgerking is a great place to have nice fresh food.Don't expect a fast service but at least the food is fantastic.Staff are quite cheery too.
• Llews takeway in Trecco. The best chips 4 miles n im from miles!!!
• Fairways is the place to go for a high quality meal. Iam a waitress there and if your lucky i might serve you. I have tried loads of the menu, it is all nice. tip-give me one!
• Fairways is class. You gotta go there. Also a hotel. Great quality food. Bar and restaurant.

• The Globe Inn for excellent and inexpensive pub grub

• Some mates of mine work in Burger King so i get free food there :)
• La Rochelle for a cracking meal, and a good reason to re-mortgage your house (with their prices)
• Try a lunch at The Swan, Nottage. Only serves lunches from Monday to Saturday. Very reasonable prices all under £5.00. The best lunch in West Glamorgan. Try it!!!
• Good stuff. The Burgerking is great, at cheap prices and with friendly staff
• La Rochelle's nice The Tribal Coconut's better - Kangaroo Burgers
• STATION HILL CHIP SHOP.
• Loads of chippys and Chinese takeaways near the surf shops on Station Hill.
• Fairways curry mmmmmm.......
• sidolis opposite woolworths does a mean hot chocolate, great for dunking your kitkat or drifter in
• Caspians on the seafront is great, open after 7pm sells kebabs, fries etc. The peole are nice too. P.S. There is a scary spice who works there on a Saturday night
• The Prince of Wales pub at Kenfig serves a better Sunday lunch than your mum does. Log fires, old timers, walkers calling for a pint from the barrel. There's a ghost too. The bread and butter pudding is heaven. Jaipur restaurant on the seafront does a wonderful Indian meal, but book early as it's very popular !
• Loads of good restaurants and pub providing good bar meals. My favourites include The Atlantic Hotel, Fairways which do a splendid bar meal
