- The surf.
- surfing
- The beach and bay. That's why people flock to Porthcurno in the summer months. The golden sand is made up of crushed shells. At very low tides you can walk around towards the Logan Rock headland. If you're prepared to go a bit further and WALK, follow the road on to St Levan Church, park in the field and follow the footpath for 20 minutes to Porthchapel beach (Not accessible at high tide)It'll still be busy in the summer, though.
- * THe colour of the sea has to be seen to be believed - more like Greece than England.
* The beach, beautiful soft, shell sand.
* The MInack Theatre
* Unparallelled cliff scenery
(mainly Southern)
* The weather (honestly) - particularly in winter when it can be as mild as the Med.
* A tremendous campsite at nearby Treen
- Surely one of the best beaches in the UK.
- SeaView House, a top spot bed and breakfast...just go there!
- When the sun shines, the most wonderful beach. when the sun doesn't shine, still the most wonderful beach. The tourist hordes make it difficult in July and August. No better place to be on a sunny spring Sunday
- Just about the most perfect beach you could want. White fine shell sand. High cliffs shelter from all but the most southernly wind. Azure/turquoise sea. Caves that can only be reached when the tide goes out, revealing a tantalising second cove. Open your eyes and dream you are in the mediterranean.
