  • Skateboarding Spots FOR BMXING AND SKATING The portland skatepark is sik. it has, a 4 foot bowl with 3 sides, a step up larger than dorch, 2 rails, a funbox a curved grind box thind , a curved quarter which can be sketchy, 2 flatbanks a pyramid with a flat top and some more....it also has some dirt jumps which us bmxers made but are bad in the winter as they are bogged so wait 4 the summer 4 them. ALSO u can go to the "banks" wen the sk8park is full etc. which is opposite the helipad in the carpark which is real smooth but watch out for loads of dirt as u skid and its opposite the RYA building u can make ur own ramps and just ride and grind curbs there is a quite high one to pull a 180 etc and a mini funbox ramp thing.. Also on tophill there are a number of quarries to ride bmx in including the "gore" where some dirt ramps have been made
  • There is a massive off road track behind the Portland Heights Hotel, with jumps.
