- FOR BMXING AND SKATING
The portland skatepark is sik. it has, a 4 foot bowl with 3 sides, a step up larger than dorch, 2 rails, a funbox a curved grind box thind , a curved quarter which can be sketchy, 2 flatbanks a pyramid with a flat top and some more....it also has some dirt jumps which us bmxers made but are bad in the winter as they are bogged so wait 4 the summer 4 them.
ALSO u can go to the "banks" wen the sk8park is full etc. which is opposite the helipad in the carpark of the RYA building u can make ur own ramps and just ride and grind curbs there is a quite high one to pull a 180 etc and a mini funbox ramp thing..
Also on tophill there are a number of quarries to ride bmx in including the "gore" where some dirt ramps have been made
- There is a skate park at grove field, not massive but ok.
- hardly anywhere i suppose, maybe the beach promenade,you could do downhill racing on the road from the top of portland..if u really wanted to.
