Cheap Food

• The Harbour Cafe - great food!
• Harbour cafe & restaurant in the square, opp Portreath Arms pub. Great food and bottled Dreckly local-ish dark beer. Mega! Try the fish cakes.
• The Retreat liscnesed restaurant and TAKE AWAY. (formally The Pirates Retreat) was taken over at the end of 2003. The new owners have given it a copmplete fac lift. The cafe is situated in the sea front car park and serves excellent food/snacks, they also have a lovely array of coffees to chose from and plenty of ice-cream! So if your down by the beach and feel a bit peckish give them a try. There are plenty of good home-cooked things to choose from including the best cookies/cakes in town!

• The best place for Food has got to be the Basset Arms. Anything from a quick snack to a full Restaurant meal, and only two minutes from the beach.
• Best Pastie's! Don't think so! Crantock Crusty's are better, hot from the crantock Bakery
• The Bakery does the BEST Cornish Pasties in the whole of Cornwall. But they sell out quickly, so get there before 12:00. Orders larger than '6' should be arranged the day before.
