• Playhouse Portrush is two screen cinema run by two fuddy duddies. Jet Centre Coleraine is pretty damn disgusting these days, 4 screens.
• Wonderful old cinema - art decco, shabby, friendly - its like watching films at a friends house except on a fairly big screen. When we went to see LOTR there there was a break when they changed reels and cut of the credits, but I love it!

• Portrush cinema is cute, soon to be appearing on the Antiques Road Show! Bring your own fan heater, or hot water bottle. The bar is amazing, but booze can be bought at the Port Hotel next door and consumed inside, theres even holder things fer ya Buckie!! Oh and don't forget Mary Jane, for company!

• Portrush Cinema was excellent when I was a kid. It still is. People should support this great original venue. One of the few original cinemas left. I remember queing up to the Derry for Convoy & Jaws. Keep up the good work

• The cinema in Portrush is brilliant. It is just like stepping back in time. So many cinemas today do not retain their traditional character but Portrush cinema has it all including the most up to date technology of Dolby stereo.
• nearest cinema to portrush is in the jet center in coleraine, which is about 15 minutes drive from portrush.it has four screens, an ice rink and a 10pin bowling alley.
• We've now got two screens in our tiny cinema which has been, in truth, really squished in. It's like sitting in your own living room with an excellent sound system. But it's comfy and cute.
