• For the best value, best guests and friendliest crowd - check out Traks in the town square. Been there for yonks and I've never had a bad night in it.
• TRAKS HAS THE BEST RECORD (NO PUN INTENDED) OF PROVIDING GREAT NIGHTS AND GREAT VALUE....BIG NAMES, THREE ROOMS AND NO ATTITUDE. NOR DO THEY GO ROUND SLAGGING OFF OTHERS - THEY JUST GET ON WITH IT - BRILLIANT NIGHTS EVERY TIME! TRAKS EVERY TIME!
• see all the d*cks going on sayin kellys is rough away and jump off a bridge kellys was tough about 7 years ago now its generally full of friendly ppl, and whoever said wednesdays is tough u must b on drugs? im up coleraien at uni and stay here at the summer and been to kellys every wed for past yr or 2, hardly ever any fights in it. though can i just add that on the way to pik my m8 up frm trax after we seen 2 fellas gettin there heads kicked off kerbs and there teeth lying on the pavement while the police watched powerless. thats the tral trax for ya! if uve any sence youl stay away, even tough the music is better
• everyone seems to think soi is a scally hole well its not!!!! the people that go are good crack so stop bringing it down, don't get me wrong lush is defintly pumping on a saturday nite but only some nights TRAXS all the way!!!!!!!!!
• Kellys especially Armanis - there used to be the most gorg barman Danny who had the most fantastic eyes! none of the other staff up to much there is one vvv scary bar woman who works updstairs she scares everyone!!!!
• listen up all you pansey kelly's people let me tell you somethin if you were a real header you wouldnt be hanging round that dump, trax may not be big or have people of your vocabulary standards in it but ive never had a dull night yet in it!!!!!!! the people mind there own business apart from if they fancy you........obviously!!! the whole place is pumping with the music, unlike kellys i dont gotta drink to enjoy myself the music is that good. can i finally say that i gave trax a chance even though after everything people say about it... and half have never been. im a real trax chick and thats the way its always going to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• tracks is a hell hole. If you have any sense stay away from it if you like your face the way it is.
• Traks- everyone speaks to each other and there is a great atmosphere. a lot of people prefer it to lush as there arent any snobs in traks and the people who work in traks are really friendly!
• For legalised people THE HARBOUR LIVE LOUNGE is amazing!! on wed fri & sat there is a live band and on mon & sun a dj

• It has to be Kellys,but we do miss The Port Hotel

• SOI (formerly TRAKS!) isn't it interesting that the person who slags this place (see above) so much can't put a sentence together...SOI on Saturdays...three rooms with dance, R & B and party catered for...and only a fiver...where would ya get it? It's the friendliest crowd you could meet

• OK portrush clubs are a bit scally I admit if u disagree you have never been to TRAKS or go their to much!!! BUT kellys is OK on a wednessday nite and Its fun to hangout during the summer.

• Plenty of these, most of em full of scum tho. Kelly's and Traks do all the dance and mainstream stuff, O'Haras is more relaxed and chilled out place with good tunes.

• Kellys is best enjoyed uber-blocked, cause it too is mostly full of twonks, on a wednesday night is ok as long as you're steamin' drunk, friday night is a joke, full of 3rd yrs, and that's not uni! Sat night is mostly filled with people off they're loaf, but if thats you're thing, why no! • Kelly's is the place - come on a Wednesday night and take your pick - you can have your drink spiked, or your head kicked in, psychos provided free of charge. Have your head jumped on until your eyes pop, or see the world out by strangulation. Two deaths in two months. THE place to be.

• Burberies or burbs as we like to call it is an under 18's disco on a friday and an over 21's disco on a saturday at the magherabouy house Portrush!! Its a blast!!!
• lush is not grunge it is trance / house traks is not hardcore it is also trance / house with dj's like mauro picotto, des mitchell from the bcm clubin magaluff and alice deejay(better off alone)for a much more down to earth crowd do traks instead of the pompus shite of lush.
• Kellyz - made up of three different parts: Armani's, Gods and Lush (one of the biggest clubs in the UK with DJs like Pete Tong and Judge Jules paying the odd visit on a Saturday night). Nero's in Portstewart isn't too bad. Traks Complex - need we say ANYTHING? Just keep your distance unless you're really desperate. BURBERRY'S - part of the Magherabuoy Hotel, it's dressy and for a completely different kind of people than Kellyz on a Friday night. Hit there if you're over 21 and have a swanky outfit to wear.
• Hmmm...Rogues has a little club going at times but I have no idea how good it is. If you're looking for hardcore - Traks Complex is your place. Otherwise, Kelly Entertainment Complex is a much better bet. The biggest nights are Wednesdays (Student night. All sections are open and you can go wherever you like and whenever you like for a fee of £3 at the start of the night), Fridays (only Armani's and Gods are open with a £2 entry fee - still fits more than 400 people mostly from the triangle area and who all know eachother) and Saturdays (Lush (one of biggest clubs in UK with DJs such as Pete Tong and Judge Jules) is closed off from the rest of Kellyz (i.e. Armani's and Gods) and costs about £8 to get in. The other two cost a mere £3 yet again but attract a small and selective crowd on this night). Burberry's (at Magherabuoy House Hotel on Sat nights. Quite dressy).

• Lush(Kellys) is now one of the best clubs in the UK, with resident Col Hamilton and different guests every week its a club to be reckoned with.
• Kellies A.K.A |LUSH is the best club i have ever been to, situated on the Bushmills road. The music is pumping with many well known d.j, the crowd are fantastic and you are guaranteed a fabdabbydooley night. Better than any Cream I have ever been to !!!!

  • Hey, it's "Denver Dan," formerly of Q102, in Derry, and now back home in Colorado at 97.3 FM in Boulder. In case you're wondering, Derry (or "Londonderry", or "Denverderry" as I like to call it) is a great place to visit for its history, its beauty, its culture, and, of course, its Guinness (oh, yeah, the people are pretty cool, too). It's my favourite city in Ireland!
  • The "Black Taxi's" story is quite fascinating to a visitor. Also, Magee College - the food sucks: the meat is dry and the potatoes are too big, and don't even bother with the deserts... The Templemoore(?) track is a very good facility! excellent running surface. The mall downtown - elevated(?) - by the "wall" is great! Must-know Local slang:
    • "What about ye": Hello, how are you.
    • "Wayne": the child/kid
    • "Keek" : a short blow with the foot
    • "that's whil": that is wild, bad.
• The Barn - home of techno and hardcore heads
• The Garage - place to be for happy house hand baggers
• Loads of other bits but we only hang around the above two bits
• the retro bar on the site of the old Dery on main st, is the coolest funkiest zone in NI. the vodka will blow your head off, the music will touch your sole and the blokes will touch your bottoms
• Kellys, cheesy as hell put good for a piss up, and gettin lucky The Derry Arms in the centre of town, breakbeat/funk type club venue. You can check out the sand dunes in the middle of the summer for beach partys hosted by us The Hoods Sound System + The Portrush Skate System
