- Have a drink in Starbucks in Gunwharf - friend of a friend works there and it's friendly and comfortable in an expensive kinda way but you can probably just sit in there without buying anything if you keep your heads down
- Deli Too Opp. University House, Cheap and cheerful. Keeps us Stoodence going.
- Theatre Royal serves nice tea in a wonderful environment
- It has to be Cafe Citrus on Albert Road for watching the world go by. Fab coffee, great mix of non-Heinekin beers and good company.

- New Theatre Royal!
Nice daytime coffee shop upstairs.
- There's a new-ish bookshop open in Commercial Road (funny name - can't
remember it) but it's opposite Allders. They serve coffee and italian type
snacks upstairs and the surroundings are great. Big squashy sofas and of
course, masses of books that you can read at your leisure while you sip your
coffee. The staff don't seem to mind the fact that you're reading and not
buying which is excellent. I don't like to be hurried!
- The Dome is especially good in summer!!!
