Local Bands
  • Go into SCRAWL in Chichester and ask for Richie he writes for all the top guitar magazines and will give lessons. His technique is awesome and he is a great bloke too. Works with big guys like The Who, Kipper, Stings Producer etc.
  • BIG TIME ROLLERS. Great horn driven band with music you can dance to. Visit the web site www.bigtimerollers.co.uk
  • Armchair Guru are fantastic (I might be a little biased here, but hey) possibly categorised as folk rock. Trixster are great too, you can find music from both bands on www.armchairguru.org. And don't forget to check the events section we're running a huge event in October for Oxfam.
  • The Promise Unknown, always open for playing gigs. Check em' out at www.myspace.com/thepromiseunknown Fake Superhero, amazing talent for boys so young. Check em out at www.myspace.com/fakesuperherouk
  • Enochian Theory, Horndean band. Can be seen at the Wedgewood rooms on the 12th Feb. Good if u like heavier music.
  • Sublevel - upcoming Portsmouth band, general rock but unusual and have an amazing spark. Played at the union and have been playing rock nights in Salisbury. Soon to record a demo though. Innovative. Great vocals.
  • Burnt Ice Play raw funky blues. Website www.broad.ology.org.uk/blues/main/burntice.html Their frontman Andy Broad also goes out solo playing acoustic blues or as duo with MattBeckwith on harmonica, and also with Phil Jones Playing Jazz.
