- Prescot has been my home for a few years, it is a lively small town with about a dozen or so pubs and wine bars, 4 restaurants, numerous take-aways, decent food shopping, not much in the way of clothes and a couple of beautiful churches. Ho's chinese restaurant does the best chinese food, i have ever tasted,and believe me I was suprised as I have certainly visited numerous chinese restaurants around the world. The Pumphouse wine bar and restaurant also serves excellent food in comfortable surroundings. One thing, I like about Prescot is the location in the north-west, fairly urban but a stones throw from either city or country life. Incidentally, not everyone in Prescot lacks a brain cell as some of the earlier posts suggest.
- There is a secret tunnel that goes from the Church to Whizzy ozzy, the priest can run through it when there is a death so he can read the last rites.
