• The best ever Italian Restaurant my wife an I have been has to be Bella Vita. We are always on the look out for new restaurants and live in West Ruislip area so after a long walk we were delighted to find in our opinion the best Italian outside of Italy. Bella Vista has it all an amazing range of food and the biggest Calzone I have seen in my life. Be careful when ordering the garlic bread as it is the traditional version meaning it is a pizza with no topping so it is huge. The house wine has to be tasted to be believed and the tiramisu a lovely change from the normal recipe and then how about having a tipple of Disaronno as well all washed down with Rossi's style charisma and humor it is incredible and it only cost us £33 when we were anticipating between £40-£50.
• Chip Shop but it is not the same standard as it used to be becasue it has been taken over by new owners. Alway expect to wait ages.
• Top Wok (chinese food to eat in and take away)- the food is really good and quite cheap, it's also buffet style Pickles Delicatessen has a really nice cafe!
• new chinese opened on the high street
• Jacksons bakery is good value, always busy at lunch time. Golden house chiness take away is good value for money.
• 3 crowns in Askett is by far the best place to eat, shensha curry house not bad, good chinese and thai.
• The chip shop regularly wins regional awards for its food. Check out the long queues when it's open. Excellent! Huge new Tesco's
• Chip shop, Market Square or Esso garage. No McDonalds. Couple of Indians and a Chinese. All okay but nothing outstanding.
