- The Fat Taxi Driver who works for Lakeside Cabs who moans everytime he collects you. Anyone living in the area and who uses that cab firm should know who I mean
- He is not quiet a street entertainer or a busker, but has anyone had the fat misserable sod who drives for Lakeside Taxis. Whenever I have people over, and Lakeside Taxis are the shortest time we have to wait for a cab, you can always guarantee it will be him. He will moan about near enough anything, from how small the street signs ( I live on the Haven , to the pot holes in the road, his disaproval of where he has to take you, to how many hours he works the list goes on. Anyway, just thought he would certainly qulaify as a local character.
- What about the smelly woman in the smelly sweet shop by the station. I think shes been behind that counter since 1952.
