Favourite Building
- The Manor Farm or the sand stone cottage next to the Texaco garage on the bend there, or the house oposite. Also Layola Hall.

- The Manor Farm Pub. The old Victorian properties in View Road. Loyola Hall.
The best buildings in the area are all in Prescot though: the Parish Church, the Clock Museum, several of the old pubs - that one next to the church is linked to Liverpool by underground smugglers' passages - allegedly
- Romarios chippy
- The loony bin in Rainhill pity they knocked it down..just goes to show the're not all locked up
- Railway Station which is historic but much neglected by Railtrack and Merseytravel.
