The coach and horses was once a very friendly local where you could go for good ale good food and good conversation, over the past couple of years it was run to the ground where the local people stopped going. Jean and leanne are hoping to turn that all around back to a place people of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy coming. there will be food starting to be served again within the next 3 weeks, there also in the process of getting the football back on the big screens. the pool team are looking for people for next season so if your intrested pop in. lets get this pub back to what it once was.

  • Fantastic pub in the village, and probably the best "vilage pub". Ged and Lynn and their superb staff look after you from the minute you walk in. They learn your name and never forget it!! If your a visitor to Rainhill you got to visit. Not a "head banging" pub, more of an excellent pint and an excellent relaxed environment. Don't take my word for it, pay it a visit - I guarantee you wil return.
  • The Holt opposite Whiston Hospital is REALLY good of a Thursday night for 60s, 70s and 80s disco night. Also, every other Saturday is karaoke night... Just stay away from my seats!!! *lmao*

  • The Victoria, Rainhill has just undergone a massive refurbishment and is now a James H. Porter house. It reopened two weeks ago and the clientelle are extremley varied. During the day families can go for lunch or dinner. In the evening couples and young people can come and enjoy a drink or chat with friends. The staff are fantastic and the atmospher is brilliant. Almost all football games are shown. Requests for television programmes or types of music are welcomed. At the weekend the party starts. All ages are welcomed and you are guaranteed a good time. The pub is now geared toward older people - 20+. I know all this because I work there (before and after the refurbishment). The food is fantastic value for money.
  • The manor, its the best pub in the world and the bar maids are gorgous
  • The Manor Farm - Olde worlde style children friendly and no trouble - covers all age groups nice relaxing evening - just off warrington rd up old lane.
  • Victoria if you are under 20 years of age Commercial if you are older and want a good pint and to meet the locals
