- in rainhill there is a great football club called rainhill rocket. it has been going 10 years this year. we has age groups rangeing from under 8s to under 16s we are a sucsessful club we have a great manging team though them we wouldnt have became a great club
- Rainhill United is THE top team in the area. It has spawned some great talent;the latest being Jack West who has recently been signed by Manchester City Academy.
- Rainhill United Football Club, which caters for kids from the age of 5 and upwards. Located in Rainhill at the fields at the back of the Jones's estate.
A great club with some great players which is run by volunteers.
- Shi'hing School of Kung Fu. Based at St Annes Millennium Centre of a Sunday evening between 6 and 8pm. Ages 6 - 15 £2 and those over 16 years old £3. If you are under 16, please come along with a parent or guardian. Contact Barbara (Shi'hing) on 07961 856216
