• Local people!!!!
• good quality produce from local butchers, bakers etc. many fast food restuarants. beautiful areas of interest, great for a walk. The Abbey and church, The marina. The great fen project
• US two of course and lets not forget the pubs!!Curley fries from Chilli express and chips and cheese in naan bread with chilli sauce - yummy!! and the garlic bread from Ramsey Kababs!!
• having lived in the east end of london a good (or not so good part of my life)it's a great feeling on a weekend night to walk thru the town, (none of the shops are caged up) young and old people strolling around with the minimum threat that they will be a victim of crime. i love ramsey, folks here don't know they've been born! + i like to wake up in the morning with the feeling that my car still has 4 wheels on it!
• Everythink is so close!
• I've lived here a while, and the best thing has to be the drive out of Ramsey. And it gets better each day...
• Nadine lives there. She's the only person from Ramsey I have EVER met who seems more evolved than the stuff on the soles of their trainers. But she isn't local, and only moved there recently. Poor Girl. (Hi Nadine!)
• The death slide has been taken down because all the sixth formers (yay!) were going down six at a time and it was deemed unsafe.
• the duck pond and cemetary.
• The death slide is probably the best thing about Ramsey, but it's nearly always broken.
• Early May there is an open weekend at the Rural museum and a big vintage tractor parade through town - well what do you expect out here in carrot cruncher land?
• Grand Entertainment Centre - this is like a cross between an old fashioned flea pit cinema and a pub. You can drink downstairs in the bar area while watching the film. Upstairs cinema seats prevail.
