• The Grand Discos Brass Bands Choirs if its got music it plays the Grand
• The Grand is the only place to dance now, since they shut the Leisure down last year.....and occasionally the george will open the function room
• we need more (like a monday evening jam)
• Dont be silly!!! Leisure was closed down due to under age drinkin (apparantly)
• There is a club called Russels in Ramsey...if your not a local forget it...be warned the doorman will check your toes to make sure they are webbed before letting you in,once in there is much merriment and freeflowing drinks and crazy dancing.
• The Leisure (re-named Russells but still known to everyone as the Leisure) A mix of chart music a few dance tunes and 'classics' make for a cheesey night out. It is the only real place to go in Ramsey so eveyone is there but be careful who you pull because some of the patrons can be quite young. Alternativly there is the Grand Venue which has poorly attended alternative nights, and occaisional dance nights. However, it's a crap layout so only go there if you want an alternative night
• Russells Snooker Club, more commonly known as 'The Leisure', a great pub-club, good music, cheap, and plenty of people-mainly 15-28 but there are the occassional oldies.
• Back inthe sixties the Beatles and Rolling Stones played in the famous Gaiety club which can be found by going down the alley next to what used to be Bonnetts the Bakers and I believe is now a fast food joint. The Gaiety Club burnt down in the early seventies.
