- Dancers and bands outside the doors of the Grand
- Theres the dyke bench near the bus stop which is ugly Lesbian Central!! Theres the desperatly pathetic 30somethin year old men who all go after 18 year old kids...they should no better! Alan Hawkins who owns the Hawk Bar is definatley worth a visit - top man and will have you in stitches(and all sorts of possitions!) for hours!
- Poor ole herby, Always sat on the bench!!
The old guy that has the funny hat with a feather in it and 2 walking sticks that nearly take out your legs when u walk by him! Bless!!
- There was once a guy called Herbie who often used too amuse people with his spontanious fits of mad laughter inside the bus shelter.
- The pelican crossing is used to stage street war fare by the lower sixth. Set the lights off, run out and do what ever infron of the cars, star wars re enactments, the can can e.t.c
- watching the drunks coming out of the local taverns
- The locals are a scream to people watch
- Watching street fights is the normal entertainment
