• christ! where do i start!!!.....Theres the Rayleigh Spicy, Yat Wongs, Pizza GOGO, Papa Johns, La Romantica, theres another Chinese restaurant but i cant remember the name, Favorite Chicken and Ribs, Queens, Oldhams, Kebab Hut.....probably some more in the High Street, i cant remember them all!!
• Really nice indian called Simla Tandoori but its in hockley if you go down by the budgens and follow the road dow till you get to a carpark on the right then its just near ther oposite the pub by the river. it looks dodgy from outside but is really nice!
• The Kebab Hut do some great Dust Nuggets ! Try them
• The Open Kitchen takeaway on Grove Road is nice.
• OH YEAH!!!! You wanna eat, well you aint gonna starve in rayleigh, my top picks are (in no order) The Kebaby, Oldhams, Papa Johns, and weatherspoons do some looooooovely food
• Choi Yin,top chinese Stephen is everyone's best mate!
• kebab hut, favourites, oldhams, mcdonalds, amigos, la romantica, queens, bakers oven, rayleigh spicy(indian), oriental inn(chinese), choi inn(chinese) pinchos, tandori indian place next to pinchos.
• Kebab shop opposite the 'loo Brush sells excellent Vege Kebabs (not the usual salad in pitta !)
• OLDHAMS- £1.00 for Chip buttie! Lovely darts! Absolutley lovely DARYLLS GREASE VAN- Websters Way car park. Anything you like as long as you dont mind copius amounts of grease. Lovely food though, well wortha visit after the pub.
• 'Darrels Grease Van' Every Friday and Saturday Darrel dons his 'face like a slapped arse' expression and serves up a culunary delight of grease in a bun accompanied by undercooked animal fat (1/4 pounder). However, it is amazingly popular with the post-brush piss heads. The Grease Van is situated in Websters way car park if you're interested. The food is quite tasty if you manage to scrape off the conjealed grease.
• lots and lots, just go to the high street chinese's a plenty, an italian, some indians, a few chippys, kebab shop, amigos at the top near the church and a fake KFC place.
• the only real place for fast food is Maccy D's, if you can handle the long treck down to the weir roundabout
• Loads of kebab shops, fish n chip shops, cafes, etc on the High Street. Nothing exciting or outstanding, though.
