  • few gd pubz !!!
  • The Crown, White Swan, Paul Pry, Spread Eagle, Half Moon, Weir, Travalers Joy
  • The Crown - No air con, no smut. Now under new ownership though so fingers crossed.
  • I like the Crown on the High Street and The Lodge on The Chase.
  • roebuck in rayleigh is a mean place to go i would not advise anyone to go there, unless you like seeing fights.
  • most of the pubs in rayleigh are full of weird locals who should have shuffled of this mortal coil long ago, but since Weatherspoons opened theres a place for the normal people to go, and get pissed and stuff themselves silly!!!! Cheap drink and phat food get a big 2 thumbs up
  • You could mention the fact that the Travs has been re-done and looks the nuts trendy but comfortable, plus theres a Weatherspoons bar opening in the new year
  • If you wish to enjoy a safe and friendly drink in Rayleigh, without screaming children drinking or otherwise, the only place to go is Ye Olde Crown. It serves great food and the only pub in Rayleigh with clean beer. You will never be in any danger of violence or verbal abuse as the managers keep a very good and orderly house with much support from the local police. It is also the only place in Rayleigh where the AMAZING AL VOSPER is to be seen regularly performing his display of well known music with his trusty guitar. Great fun and entertainment enjoyed by all and if you want to you could even show off your own tallent with him. So, if you would like a cosy, frindly and enjoyable drink in Rayleigh go to the Crown. If not, try The Hungry Horse, Spread Eagle, Paul Pry, Half Moon, White Horse, The Lodge or the Wier.
  • Crown, OK for TV football
  • I don't think we need yet another children's playground fort the teenagers in Rayleigh. We already have at least 10 pubs in the town.
  • ok...start from my local...The weir, i worked there for about a year...is kinda resturant/pub really...its ok, pretty big....always the same kinda crowd in there....fucking expensive though..2-41 a pint of grolsch!..harsh eh?... paul pry is smaller but has a proper garden and is cool in the summer... crown is pretty shit, alright for going b4 the brush though....spread is ok, but full off scarey locals who are like mad inbreeds from the countryside...travellers joy is a bigggg pub, always busy as fuck, a young crowd but not underage, no really...its actually pretty strict, cheaps as shit food, best pub in rayleigh by a mile, cept when its so busy you cant get served in under an hour...white horse...is a shithole for 14 year olds..pants....half moon is an old mans pub...not the worst though..
  • there's an endless list, The half moon, The Lodge, The Paul Pry, The Lodge, The Weir.....
  • The Half Moon is a good, laidback pub which is ideal to stop off in before you go clubbing. Otherwise, there's loads of others to choose from - The Crown always seems to be the most popular, but watch out... come kicking out time, there are always tons of fights going on in this general region, and passers by can get sucked in (it's happened to me MORE than once and I generally want a quiet life, thank you very much). I blame the fact that there's so many pubs (and therefore so many drunk people) in such a small area. Tread carefully.
