  • well, just to update all of you form whats written here, the Library Rail had been removed and replaced by 3 notched rails, so no skating there anymore, ALL of the ledges in the high street have benches put on them, including the one outside the Crown Pub, no skating them either, Fitz school is no longer an option due to an angry caretaker whos there 24/7 cos he lives on the grounds, and his even more angry dog, Glebe is the best school in Rayleigh (ask someone where it is) it has a nice ledge which is low on one side and high on the other, you cant grind it, but great for manuals and trick-on-trick-of stuff, also right at the back of the school there is a kids road thing, and it makes a great gap to an island then another gap, the main playground is huge and theres always wood and stuff around, GO BUILD, plus u can move the bench's around. Theres a 6 set oppisit the Station. At the top of Crown Hill theres a new old peoples home just been built, its got a big set of stairs with a rail and ledge (a brick ledge, but take loads of wax and it will move!). Right at the top of the High Street theres Essex Tile Centre, which has a long, curb high ledge, great for manuals and grinds, Ad.K Krook'ed all of this (sick). The Methodist Church has a nice 4 set, you can get chucked off easy sometimes tho.
  • rayleigh is good you just have to know were your going a good place to start is the skatepark a good skatepark maded out of skatelite(very nice) it has two rails one small, one big ,mini-ramp the best in the area if you ever skated oakwood ramp you will love this. a hip going off from the mini(barry dring killed this) which leans on to a fun box(not nice this is the only part which is crap) than a quarter pipe. hook up with some skaters a go skate some street schools in rayleigh are sick fitz is good but a bust so many cameras which do work edward francris primary school is the bomb make sure you go to this school all round good some big steps(which neil smith from blueprint kickfliped)the high street was so good but now they have but benches on the leages all apart from one which is the nice one but it is outside a pub and the man who owns the pub is a dick so if your going to skate here it going to have to be a 1 trick wonder and than your have to run the mill hall is a great place for skaing lots of gaps mannel pads and curbs also some go steps the other side of the train station also a the libray a okay rail which ad b has 5-0 it was sick up from that there is a red brick set of steps the weir is good for skateing not hard to find a spot down there. if it is raining skate doctors it might be a curb but its better than saying at home. also if you know somebody in rayleigh see if you can get a copy of chris wiseman vs ad braun it all skateing from around essex and london ,MK, and if ad's up for spain, spain
  • the whole of rayleigh is good
  • Wellington Road
  • Just like to say that the District Council has just voted 17 votes to 7 to allow a skateboarding area in King Georges Field - and I'm proud to say that I'm one of the 17 who voted for it.
  • A skate boarding park is needed in Rayleigh.
  • everywhere in rayleigh its skateboarders home town they dont go out of rayleigh. They do the 3 s's= sleep, shit, skate.
  • The WORST scateboard spot in the world is outside the Crown so PLEASE DON'T use it!!!!
  • not really many, over sainsburys by the weir isnt too bad...websters way car park ok, but not many benches or curbs to grind on anywhere....kinda of pretty awful for skatin here..
  • no proper places, but theres some empty concrete round by the windmill
