Where to go to get down

You can tell us more about Redditch.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
  • Yes but not very good. The Queens Head in Queens street Redditch was once one of the top live venues in the west midlands but sadly Redditch Needs a kick up the ASS when it comes to live music these days
  • YOU SAY TIME-WE SAY WE LOVE IT. Time now called fuse is propa sweet on a saturday night, its bad man, i usually pull 10 birds every week cause the girls in there are "EASY" BIG UP DA BOYS!!! SAFE,.
  • Fuse night club is ok when you cannot be bothered to go into brum, its full of teeny bopper teenagers mostly and plays ocasional cheesy trance and R+B (bring back hard house ) how ever for 20+ best place to be is Chicargo rock cafe on Unicorn hill they do karaoke and have li9ve bands on during the week and play 60's-2006 music including dance mixes from the eaira.
  • fuse!!!!!!!!!!
  • Golden Cross is the safest place in Redditch, best food, quality ales, best dj on friday night and best live bands on saturday night, in fact it's probably the best pub in the world-because it sells carlsberg!
  • Chicago Rock (The old cinema on Unicorn Hill)suits me (being over 30!)They have live music during the week and a mix of pop music across the eras at weekends. I think Friday night is better than Saturday night for the 30 something. Beware of the drink prices as they increase in price throughout the night.
  • Chicago Rock and Time, err go to birmingham.
  • time
  • Time is tha only club now in redditch, used to have loadz of little kids in there but recently got a lot stricter good nite out for seeing people u ent seen in a while and girls giving u dirty looks and then a fight at the end.on a thursday its a £ a drink. best nite is prob a saturday nite which is tha classier nite if u can call time classy! THeres chicago rock aswell but it really really packed in there thursday thru to sunday and also really expensive. plays a lot ov old songs and on a sunday they do a wkd r'n'b nite.
  • Loads around but us in tha Asian Massive only attend in huge hoards few nights of tha year when one of our boyz had a DJ slot there.
  • TIME nightclub can't be beaten
  • TIME !!! - where the old bingo hall was ... its great ... no really ..
  • The club scene has really hotted up since these postings here. There's a Chicago Rock Cafe for the old-timers and a club called TIME for the clubbers. Me & my mates really like TIME - good music - good fun!
  • Time is a nightclub just round the corner from the chemist
  • rock cafe..... unicorn hill
  • TIME - NOW DON'T EVEN GO THERE!!!!!
  • NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED a decent Indie/alternative club. Not like Oasis or such, more like Chillies and Incubus,No dress codes but maybe a no effort no entry rule,to keep the grufties out,or the broad street battle mentality, and non of this crappy 1100pm business,3am or no deal.See if you can conjure that state51,then I will buy you a couple of beers,Maybe.WWW.INLINEWALKING.COM
  • a new one opened recently, but if it is anything like oddessy used to be not worth the effort
  • TIME- not too bad a bit of a new odessey
  • Apart from Birmingham, Redditch is the best local area to come for a decent night out(this is highlighted by the 3 coaches from Worcester, Solihull and Kidderminster that arrive outside Chicago Rock at 9 on a Saturday). For example, Brodies at 7, The Gate at 7.30, Wetherspoons at 8.30, Yate's at 9.30, The Litten Tree at 10, Chicago Rock at 11 and Time at 11.30. For all you sad bastards who have nothing positive to say about the town, fuck off away from the area and leave the rest of us to enjoy it
  • Time -the new night club in Redditch has now opened! Although you have to que for ages, the dress code is extreemly strict (in some cases ridiculus), taking ID is esential! All in all a great night out! Chicargo Rock Cafe - now open where the old cinema was although a diferent night out the music is cheesy and rather annoying after a while! The clientel is more of my mothers age than mine! Looking forward to a night of abba though!
  • i woulnd't call it a club as such but the closet you will get to one in Redditch! I must say i never had the pleasure of going to oddessy! Anyways you left out the Litten Tree on the main high street. GREAT Karaoke and if you want to get to know the people in there just say tell everyone tesco workers rule! (because most of them in there work at tesco)
  • Absolutely Redditch's lowest ebb. One tiny club, and it's shit. It's also very dangerous due to it's nasty clientele, and the fact that it's situated in a deserted marketplace. There used to be an awsome club called Stomp, in the now defunct Limelight bar, but as usual with all the great things in Redditch, it's now dead.
  • oddessey has gone (oh no!) but alas a new club should be opening very soon and it's sposed to be wicked!!!! Yates used to be good has lovely bouncers!!!, now you just have the 14 year old slappers in there. very sad!!!!!!
  • they cetainly do me being 1 of them but to be honest who cares. ever since odersy closed the kappa slappas have become so well depressed well not all hope is gone there should be a bigger and better one oppening in the summer- fingers crossed!
  • The only nightclub - Odyssey has now closed. There should be a new one club opening soon although I have not heard a date. Birmingham is your best option for a good night out, however if you want to say in Redditch, Evesham Road has many pubs which the locals have dubbed "The Golden Mile". Brodie's is quite a lively pub. The Chain pubs Yates' and Weatherspoons are very busy at the weekend. I will post an opening date for the new club as soon as i find out. (assuming it is going to open!)
  • well there is one put its more like a cattle market than a pub. However if you idea of a good night that involves drinking crap beer, dancing to 'who let the dogs out', meeting a young lady (and i mean young), throwing up on the dance floor, having the standard punch up at closing time and finishing the night with a kebab, then this is the place for you.
  • Thursday nights at the Crown (prospect Hill). £1 in, most drinks £1 between 8 & 11pm. Dance music (drum and bass, house, trance, techno etc...) by established underground legends alongside top local talent. A good drinking and dancing session / warmup to the weekend.
  • Meat market in one short phrase, good for molesting and a one night stands but believe me if it's quality it's not clubbing in redditch.
  • My Brother seems to think it is OK. Tried to get in twice. However first time could not as there was some stupid colar rule in operation. (This isn't London people). The second time was turned away because after letting in twenty people it was full up - maybe I exaggerate. There are over 85,000 people in Redditch. Is one club enough?
  • Limelight been closed down. Best to go into Brum.
  • Although Redditch is pretty low on Dance clubs, theres a new breed of watering holes being introduced, we have a new Weatherspoons in town, and a Rummers Wine bar - which plays enough music to dance to. The Crown Pub next past McDonbalds by Smallwood Health Centre has a dance floor, cheap drinks and lots of music.
  • The Crown now has it's late license and is open til 1AM this is mainstream chart music but is less likley to be trouble than oddessy or the works.
  • Oddessy (Redditch Market)- Trendy dance crap, great if you're looking for a fight (open till 1am) Limlight (The Kingfisher Center)- No dress code, Indie and alternative on friday. Drum & Bass Sat (Open til 1am) The Queens Arms (Oposite Shipleys Bingo Hall) - No dress code, classic rock and punk apparently but usually some dance tunes (Open Til 1am). The Queens -
