The places where you buy your music
You can tell us more about Redditch.
Record Shops
- Internet or Brum
- Suspect Promotions at Suspect Sports are going to be supporting and promoting local band CDs and Band clothing.
- in redditch town centre HMV is by far the best place to go.
- hmv thts it relli
- Tha best shop for c.ds in that and tha only shop is HMV we used to abe a Sanity but it closed down.
- HMV theres like a whole section of ska punk music :)
- Sanity, Our Price, I & fellow members of the Asian massive used to sroll in very often just to pick up the latest Asian / US Hip hop tracks. good action / comedy DvDs available as well.
- Prolly best to go to Brum ...
- Waste of time - gotta go to Brum
- What happened to Magpie?
- new HMV is the best thing for a long while
- there is one on bates hill
quite good
- Nothing of the sort! Our Price blows, and there's not even any record stalls on the market. Culture, it seems, is this towns biggest weakness.
- our price is the only decent place to get your fave tunes from
- i choose not to buy music in redditch the shops we have on offer are well not alot is there so down to our price on a saturday is all you can do really and just pray they have what you want. yeah right!
- well theres only one and thats pretty crap. Its more a case of super furry who than super furry animals.
- Vinyl Groove records is now open on Bates Hill (next to where Lennys bike shop once lived). It is an independant record shop - an excellent one at that. Specialising in dance music, they get vinyl in ahead of most of the leading independants in brum. They are also a ticket outlet for the midlands club scene, supplying tickets for all the major events.
- we did have Magpie which sold cool vinyls but now unless it's on sale in a main stream shop you gotta hop a train to brum
- Oh definitely Our Price...yup
- B97 has now opened and you can get loads of cheap second hand cd's, sometimes you can find a real bargain, but most of the time the best you can get is 'Lolly, My First Album'for 50p.
- Although a new town, with a lot of younger residents, Redditch has only one
record shop, a poorly stocked part of a large chain. Magpie Records, the king of
shops closed down some 5 years ago. There is no shop in the town where you would
stand any chance of getting the new Hefner single! A town that eats your very
soul
- New place with lots of cheap second hand stuff - also a cafe - at top of escalators from bus station
- Our Price in the kingfisher
