The Best Things in Redhill, Surrey*

If you're around, be sure to check these things out

You can tell us more about Redhill.

The Best Things
  • Thursday and Saturday market. Why can't it be on every day, or at least every other day?
  • My bed. My wife and me.
  • What is the best thing abot redhill? Why would you advise someone to come ro redhill?
  • The road out.
  • The kebab house on Brighton road, opposite the car dealer's
  • smokers........you know who you are.
  • The best thing about Redhill, and I'm not trying to be clever, is that the fact it has a big station on a lot of lines, so its easy to escape. Also its surrounded by nice countryside. So the best points about redhill is that its quite easy to escape.
  • There is a perverse sense of enjoying somewhere that is so bad. Its funny. Me & my mates sit down the pub & just laugh at the place we live & I have to say we get alot of enjoyment from it.. "paradise" would be nice for a while, but not as interesting. I think this is an English trait in general. There is an underclass of people here who are decent, intellegent etc.. but they cant seem to be bothered to move away. This place isnt all bad.
  • Pillow Talk. An under-rated sex shop. Its actually quite classy. Not as good as Ann Summers though....go to Brighton or new one in Guildford. I do like that shop though.
  • The Brighton Road is the quickest exit. Or maybe the London Road.
  • the Market on thursdays and Saturdays
  • That it will not survive the next extinction level event
  • The train outta here.
  • Theres alot to laugh at.
  • The Sun because I was the duty manager there for 9 months after coming out from Oz.
  • colours snooker club
  • indigo west opposite the dog and duck has a wide range of dope smoking paraphernalia, including scales hmmmm....
  • Red hill is full of Life, ambition, and greatness. The embassy is one of the greatest clubs of all time and it is the central poit to the whole of the UK
  • In Redhill? The train station, so you can leave... well, get as far as Croydon, anyway...
  • The way the Pikies take themselves so seriously... classic
  • half way between London & Brighton
  • The girls in Reed Employment, all gorgeous, always friendly and try their best to get you a job. They also let you train up on the latest software free of charge so you can sit and train and listen to the jobs coming in.
  • The only entertainment centre in Redhill is the Harlequin Theatre and Cinema. See www.harlequin-theatre.co.uk.
  • The Kebab van behind the abbot pub (where things can get a bit hairy) often sells shirts too (so people can get into the embassy !!).
  • North Downs stunning surrounding country side
  • Pedestrianised shopping precincts & closeness to countryside & main routes.
  • Woolworths doesn't smell of puke anymore Redhill Kebab House does the BEST crispy donner meat. Tru-fi is an amazing audio visual shop you can probably still get Hi-tek silver shadows in continental sports
  • When I'm feeling stupid, I watch the Jerry Springer show, and seeing all those shouting inbred Americans makes me feel comparatively intelligent. Walking through Redhill has a similar effect.
  • Its near London. The A23 - out of Redhill
  • atleast Redhills have a train station that goes somewhere, unlike reigate who's trains only go to redhill arghhhh
  • Nope, sorry, can't think of one!
  • London on your doorstep, oh and Kevs to make fun of.
  • Skate spot, train station
  • Getting politely served in Burger King
  • The telephone exchange. There are good shops around, the station is really excellent providing north south and east west direct travel. It's not far to the real country and London and the sea.
  • It's better than Horley You can get everywhere easily (cos no-one wants to actually be here)
  • Eccentric suburban architecture. Works of incredible literature that remain unclaimed in charity shops because most of the people in Redhill can't even string a sentence together.
  • M25
