Cheap Food in Redhill, Surrey*
Corner eateries, quick bites and the local chippy
You can tell us more about Redhill.
Cheap Food
- Redhill is full of chepo eatiries. KFC, McDonalds, BK,s, etc.
- Subway in the town centre is scrummy!
- All shitey
- Danny's opposite burger king - all food is "halel" - you will not get bacon here!
- reedhill kebeb shop..............ymmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy.
- Curry Garden: Excellant Indian restaurant.
Both Kebab houses...the one near the belfry who let me use their toilet every weekend after the pub closed when i was about 15 and the one on brighton road with their under the counter super strong chillies (can i have one of your "special" chillies as well mate? you say.."ah you like it hot eh my friend?" he smiles conspiritorally..)
Most popular restaurants are the ones full of yobs where the packaging has more nutrition than the 'food'..you guessed it Maccy D (in illiterate Redhill style) or Murder KIng.
- Ruschitas Indian restaurant near Earlswood station is award winning. Tangs chinese restaurant, above Argos, has excellent food & service in elegant surroundings - for an hour or so I forgot I was in Redhill and I can pay no higher compliment than that
- Not many places to eat unless you like McDonalds or Burger King!
- As others have said, never go to the kebab caravan.
- The dodgy burger van in the car park behind 'The Abbot' pub at 2am.
- Only thing to eat at 3am on a Friday or Saturday is the dodgy kebab/burger/chip vans in the car park by the Abbot. Alright though if you're drunk, desperate and a degenerate... ;o)
- Benjy's the new sandwich shop next to Tru-Fi - great lunchtime food and quite cheap - does a great jacket potato
Cafe Belfry in Station Road do a great Pannini
- I like to have toasted teacakes or lunch in the Harelquin.
- Redhill Kebab House..."Burger sauce my friend?" - WE LOVE IT.
- The Gourmet Wok Chinese take-away in Bell Street, Reigate Delivers within a 3-mile radius of the shop (therefore including Redhill). It's the tastiest, freshest Chinese I've ever tasted. in Reigate
- If you look at the advert in the station the Belfry Centre is so clean you could eat a jacket potato off the floor
- Gulaab garden or whatever, used to be the Rose Balti (best baltis this side of Birmingham) but now is only so so.
- The usual dreary restaurant chains in the town centre, all surrounded by ugly shouting Redhill children at any time of day or night. However, on the slightly less scummy outskirts of Redhill you can find the Pizza Piazza which is usually pleasant, and there's also an impressive Chinese takeaway on the bridge behind it too. Otherwise go a few more miles to Reigate, which is almost entirely comprised of restaurants, charity shops and posh old women.
- The obligatory Chinese, Indian, Kebab, Mc Donalds.
- REDHILL KEEBAB on brighton road is actually the best keebab shop in britain (trust me i've been to a few) and it sells burger sauce (the pink one)
- The New Tong Fung at the end of the town is good and for some reason not generally busy.
- Plenty average, none that stand out. Not enough Chinese restaurants
- The Ruchita Tandoori next to Earlswood Station is just excellent, just don't go in the pub next door (the Chestnut) unless you just want to spectate...
