Record Shops in Redhill, Surrey*

The places where you buy your music

You can tell us more about Redhill.

Record Shops
  • Hits in the arcade. Cool.
  • MVC has closed and is now Music Zone, Woolworths and WH Smith sells CDs. Hits in the Arcade isn't as good as it was back in the day, too much Mobile Phones and not enough good music. Best to get a one day travel card, hop on a train and go around London for good record stores.
  • good seletion of second hand suff in the arcade - opposite mc d's
  • Woolies, MVC, Hits in the Arcade. Nowhere else to buy in Redhill. Anyone sensible goes to Crawley, where there is a Virgin and HMV.
  • Da Record shop in da Road Runners Taxi arcade?
  • MVC, is getting a bigger range of Cds, Worth a look.
  • Hits record shop in the arcade is GREAT. They sell CD's, PS1 & PS2 games, DVD's, Videos, PHONES, PHONE UNLOCKING AND Phone accessories . You can even find music you thought you would never see again. Just for the record it is now going to be run by a new small fella who knows what he is talking about.!!!!!!!!
  • hits in the road runners arcade its old skool
  • Theres a second hand music shop in the Arcade opposite McDonalds
  • MVC does really good stuff,I got Funeral For A Friend's album in there the day it came out.
  • "Hits" Record Shop in Road Runners Arcade (near McDonalds) is well worth a visit. Now under new ownership the shop has improved dramatically with a wide selection of cds, videos and DVDs as well as some vinyl, secondhand phones etc. Friendly, helpful guy running it - i bought loads of excellent stuff!!!!
  • "Hits" in the arcade. Now been sold by the little fella, although the new owners always seem to be slagging him off when I go in there. Nice smell of cooking fat from the greasy spoon cafe that has opened next door. Nice !
  • Woolworths!
  • MVC the best i do belive
  • Sanity? Don't go to hits, you might be freaked out by the guy behind the counter
  • Hits in the arcade opposite mcdonalds has changed hands in the last few months. The shop is now worth a visit. I used to go when the miserable old guy was there and the place is so much better now. Lots of CD bargins, Loads of old vinyl. They also buy your unwanted Cds and vids cash. Oh and the staff are younger and more friendly. I just got a Korn Cd for a fiver.
  • theres a 2nd hand record shop in the arcade by roadrunners taxis.
  • last time I visited there was a small second hand record store in the little arcade to the left of McDonalds, stock was not terribly good but definetely worth a look for some unnoticed gems.
  • no "Tower Records" :-(
  • give v shop a break. they do their best and they'll get whatever they can in for you. it wasn't their decision to become a void.
  • Look for Hits in the arcade opposite McDonalds. Good for bargains. The owner couldn't spot a rare buy if he had a poster of it on his wall. Sometimes you find nothing. Sometimes you find some real Gems. Don't get caught talking to the guy in the shop though, he's a bit boring.
  • Good place to go is (s) HITS in the arcade (warning it stinks), a bad place to go is the V-shop which has a selection of about 30 titles.
  • Used to be Our Price in the Belfry but that's now turned into a stark featureless cyberhell called a "V Shop" where the rows of cds no longer seem to be in any discernable order... Oh and there's the little shop in the Arcade with the guy who looks like Elvis.
  • Our price was eaten up by he 'V' Shop chain and has now changed beyond all recognition. Its still in the Belfry. MVC has opened a new shop opposite Woolies.
  • ummm good question get a train to london and go to blackmarket records soho
  • The charity shops sometimes have a real find amongst the Val Doonigan dross.
  • Hits, in the Arcade - this can be located opposite MacDonalds/Bookstop. You go down a little corridor by the fish and chip shop, signposted as, (funnily enough) the Arcade. It's in there. Lots of odd vinyl. Oh...and there's Our Price, too.
