Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
- a few pubs have the odd live gig all pretty crap, there is a piano bar called tickled ivory(what a lot of thought went into that name) that has a sleazy dirty old men flashing their cash hoping to get off with young tarts but it is just full of pretentious pricks really
- The Market Hotel is the best "club" but it's not open to under 21s in the evenings. The tickled Ivory is good for live music and a sophisticated night out. If you are looking for a more lively music The Cage has to be the best. For teenagers looking for a good night out, you would have to go to Ikon or The Harliquin discos in neighbouring which to be honest only the chavs attend.
- Friday & Saturday night are bangin in The Market Hotel in house DJ is a legend! He play's upstairs 8-12 want a good dance to all sorts of music from old skool RnB garage 80'S The list goes on this guy is fantastic.
- Hi,
My name is Simon Jones and my friend is called Drew Palmer. Collectively we are known as the Floored DJ's. We've recently started promoting our own monthly house music night at the White Hart in Reigate. It's on a Saturday night (please see posters in window for details) and we play nothing but the best seriously funky house. Given that the area has nothing on offer like this we feel that we're providing a service.
Both Drew and myself have DJed at various clubs in Brighton including Zap, Envy, Escape and Greens. We're looking forward to playing some seriously funky tunes throughout the sun-kissed summer of 2004.
Everybody's welcome, free entry too but the music ends at 11pm. We hope to invite some special guests to play with us over the summer too, so keep your eyes peeled for some big names (yes I know, big name DJ's in Reigate!?! How cool is that?!) ;-)
We're working on a website at the moment too, so hope to have that live soon.
The site address will be www.floored.me.uk
Hope to see you all there, and look out for the distinctive posters in the windows of the White Hart.
Floored DJ's
- try thepiano bar . no jeans
- no clubs in reigate, try guildford (for violent pop bitches...) or the embo in redhill for a pikey night out.
- There are none. Period. Go to the Embo in Redhill if you're feeling drunk and desperate enough
- No clubs, just lots of quaint pubs. The nearest club worth a visit would be Icon Diva in Crawley. (Over 25's nights and over 21's nights)
- not really. But the Market Hotel Bar does have big scary bouncers and looks a bit swanky. If you really like dance/disco shit and feel the need to mingle amongst kevs and slappers then go to the Embassy (Embo) in Redhill
- Err, no chance, although some pubs have dancefloors and live music. Closest is Embassy in Redhill (yuck).
