Live Music Venues
- The Greyhound, The White Hart.
- Band Night is the best place to spot up and coming talent. Its full of grungers and skaters and usually the bands are Indie/alternative rock. Its a good night out if your interested in that sort of thing. Its great for teenagers who want to get away from the whole dance club chav thing. Reiagte Summer Music Festival is great fun no matter what your age. Tribute night usually has some awesome acts and the proms in the park, despite how it sounds can also be alright. Its always finished off by a spectacular firework display.
- harlequin in redhill you get some good bands. the greyhound pub in redhill also...
- is anyone going to see the woo-mc's on friday night in woodhatch?
- piano bar
- REDLANDS!!!
- coleman and redland centre on croydon road has bandnights. the college and the grammar also hold them from time to time. the prince of wales pub does (or used to) have live music and it's right next to the station. london and brighton are so damn close it's easy to see big bands-i prefer the astoria on tottenham court road-cracking venue.
- colman and redland centre has bandnights-on croyden road. harlequin in redhill has uber bandnights-like with one minute silence.
- The Prince of Wales has bands on a Saturday night, tend to be a bit pants though as befits the slightly, er..distinguished clientele.
- Nearest live music venue would be the Watermill in Dorking.
- Many Rock and other types of gigs are held in local halls such as the redlands centre in Croydon Rd near the Fire station. (To which I must credit sum local guys who organise usually decent bandnights by the name of 'Rocklands' Where many local bands thrash their toys)
- the cage wine bar, next to safeways. and sometimes the castle grounds has some pretty wikid jazz stuff.
- Try Thr Firkin on Friday for a busking man.
- Err, no. Well apart from the local pubs most of which have live music most weekends.
