The Worst Things in Reigate, Surrey*
The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it
You can tell us more about Reigate.
The Worst Things
- Nowhere to buy CDs
- middle class suburban town that does actually offer quite a lot if you have deep pockets
- A lot of the people in reigate especially the office workers and security guards hate skateboarders - they seem to enjoy chucking us out of the spots we skate - even if its empty and we're doing no damage they make us leave. i dont unserstand what people have against skaters - we rnt gonna vandalise the property we skate on cos we'll want to come back and use it again
- Why does such a nice town have to have such horrible neighbours. Woodhatch and Redhill are full of pikey scum which sometimes make their way into Reigate. Its unfortunate but true.
- The "TX" crew by the Texaco garage in Woodhatch. Throwing rocks at cars is not cool kids, NOT COOL.
- That the young, mindless thugs come from Redhill and Dorking at the weekends. They try to intimidate, abuse the locals!
- gramar school
- Crap transport links with Sutton (if you don't drive) which is only 15 mins down the road, but takes ages to get to by rail and bus (round the houses).
- kevs/pikies but luckily there arent too many now days
- Most hobbies aren't possible in Reigate.
- As an estate agent working in Reigate there is no doubt that the town is so over rated! Many of the resisdents love themselves and associate Redhill as the poor mans Reigate, oh dear, what a bunch of snobs.
Parking in many of the roads is terrible and much of the victorian architecture has lost it's appeal through resisdents just not giving a s**t.
- Feeling far too old to go on pub crawls in Reigate because I don't look 14!
- Lack of things to do, when you are bored then the quietness becomes a really bad thing
- No real life shops. Safeways stinks so you just have to eat out all the time.
- Property prices.
Being so close to Redhill which is a dump (in my opinion, of course).
Trying to find a parking space in the High Street on a Saturday afternoon.
Shame M&S isn't bigger.
Walking home up the hill after a night out.
