• THE ANCHOR HOTEL, FERNDALE is the best home cooked sunday lunch i have ever had they even do offers for O,A,Ps.The restaraunt menu well go try the Anchor challenge "but take a camera" book early for xmas partys and stay all night for the entertainment later (great) but book now !!!

• Top food at 'The Berties, Trhafod, and is you like loads of chips with your good value meal then try The Trebanog Arms.

• Great packet of crisps in Smokies.. All varieties stocked..
• chinese in penygraig is the best fish shop around,

• golden palace chinese well worth a visit stunning food
• There's McDonalds in Tonypandy, but, if you're a veggie like me, move somewhere else- this place is full of omnivors!
• well theres a Maccy D's at last!
• The bins round the back of Somerfield in Treorchy. Often a squashed Battenburg cake to be found!
• ali's kebab shop in ferndale, greasy death bringers til the early hours.
• Trans vietnamese in porth is worth a visit, if only to guess what animal the meat came from.
• Maroc - the greasy spoon formerly known as Ahmed's. Still serve a nice Farmhouse grill late into weekend nights, sadly let down by the fact that Ahmed, the Rhondda's premier (and hardest) Moroccan restauranteur no longer runs the place. The end of an era. It used to be a wonderful sight after the pub, walk into Ahmed's to be greeted by the sight of 40 pissed people eating full English breakfasts at 3am, Sunday morning, and a cheery "Y'alright boyss?" from the man.
• Chinees chipshops, a great Indian in Ton Pentre, Restraurants, you must be joking! But good pub restraunts
• Kang Wah Chinese Takeaway in Treherbert.
• Best Chippie - A fish called Rhondda Best Chinkie - Julies Best indian - the one near Fagins in Ton-Pentre
• Freds Chippie at Llewellyn Street, Pentre. Fish the size of Jaws.
• Javs fish bar serves indian delights all day long.
• Macdonalds, great if you like that type of food
• Balti cuisine, Treorchy if you want a greasey kebab after a few jars up the Lion This is the place to go
• Station Fish Bar (Steve's) in Treorci, simply THE best chip shop there is, loads of chips, amazing quality, cheap, heaven...
• Llanfair cafe, Penrhys
• The Transport cafe in Porth full breakfast for £2:50
• A Fish Called Rhondda is in my humble opinion the best fish and chips bars in Ton Pentre. You can decide if it is , every day of the week except sunday.
