- I feel I have to give a mention to the Stag Hotel, Treorchy.
Kevin and Hayley always have a warm welcome, the pint is excellent and the food served in the restaraunt is top notch, the Sunday lunch being highly recommended but be warned it is always wise to book in advance.
- Umm. me and my mates did a bit of a tour of the pubs and clubs of clydach and pandy in two days, umm - the central, the max, the lib, the monkey, the dee, morgans, the ath, the pandy central, the welcome, the turb (penygraig)
the best rated was the monkey which is a very cheap pint great for afternnon drinking or sunday drinking. a pint of bitter £1.41 wooo!! and sky tv.
th elib aint bad either if you like a bit of ruff
the welcome is overated with its hostile atmosphere, overpriced and foul lager/cider

- The lord Tonypandy is very civilised. Menu does not greatly cater for Veggies unfortunately. The old White Hart, now Morgan's, has nice surroundings but no atmosphere.

- Fagin's on a Monday is really good.
- In Trealaw, there is the Trealaw Social Club a.k.a the Res.Here you can have a pint, watch digital tv, play pool, and theres a regular show/quiz night.
- The pandy inn is the best night spot in pandy. However, youngers may go over the melon and outside the centre. Check out Ystrad Labour and be sure to cause some havoc for the commitee - like not returning the chalk or something
- the rad in bleanclechau, a proper old mans pub( cheap beer, coffin dodgers in suits and a peculiar smell).
- tynewydd labour - really cheap beer - love it!
- The Lion, Treorchy - the only pub even remotely approaching good in this whole
valley.

- The Lion in Treorchy
- The Gelli - local gay hangout and pickup joint
- The Red Lion, Treorchy, great for meeting those rather very young looking female drinkers.

- Tynewydd Labour rocks!!
- The Banc in Pentre is already listed but may I point out that infact it is a good night out as many people will tell you ask anyone under 30. The karoke on a sunday is brill and a friendly atmosphere. Visit on a Bank holiday Monday as you are sure of a good time, STRIPPERS.
- The Llwyncelyn
- The Banc (not a type error)

- Fagin's Cafe Bar in Ton-Pentre is by far the best pub in the Valley, always lively, friendly, no fighting, and excellent food and drink. Fagins FC play in the Rhondda and District Sunday League.
