• there is a new record shop just opened in Tonypandy,'second time around' flogs thousands of second hand and new cd's and records covering all types of music,the first record shop in the rhondda for donkeys years.

• the record stall in ponty market, also the one in aberdare market which sells lots of cheap rock cds; an stuf, also the old record shop in the preceint in ponty town

• I'm like 13 and I go to Pandy comp at the moment- the Rhondda is a bit shittie for cool music shops. There used to be, or so my then 'heavy metal/punk' sister tells me, really cool and funky record shops which sold Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath etc EP's. But now there's narffin.
• Wollies is actually the only place in the rhondda to sell music, there is one in porth, tonypandy and pontypridd!
• Woolworths is the best!
• Sadly, there aren't any proper record shops that I'm aware of. I suggest people buy on-line.
• ha ha you are joking!!! if radio 1, red dragon and valleys radio dont play it then the people in the rhondda wont have heard of it and all specialist shops would be bankrupt b4 they opened!

• Oram's in Treorchy. Trouble is it shut in about 1987 and now it's a butcher's shop. That's it I'm afraid.
• None all in Cardiff, smatering in Ponty, but we are best for travel agents (to get out of here) and building societies.
• Rainbow Records in the arcade in Pontypridd - good people who will make the effort to find what you want.
• Beggars Records, Miskin Street, Trealaw. Knock twice, once, then twice again for the best in knocked off music and video games. Some adult entertainment too, but that's a bit expensive.
• Mals that was on Pandy square but is there no more, damn shame
