- Ian Robb lives near the Scottish Borders and is very fond of Culture Club. . .
- I knew Micky Horwood when he was right skinny wiv a real small arse.
But wot goes on tour stays on tour. I sold my racing bike shortly after that weekend, cheers mick
- Out of town action sports (the aquadrome) there are loads of different courses there for windsurfing, kyacking, and canooing. But be prepared to be freezing cold and covered in algea (the water in the aquadrome isn't exactly nice)
- i was the guy that coached Boy George along with second row Paul Kleian before his accident circa 1983
- Interesting - the statement from the guy in the Scottish borders about Boy George playing for Chess Valley RFC! The club was only founded in 1996! I guess the beer must be pretty strong in those parts.
- Chess Valley RFC is Rickmansworth's own Rugby Union club and further success has led them to be playing in Herts / Middx League 1. Check out the new website at www.cvrfc.com
- I now live next to the Scottish Border after living in Ricky for nearly 40 years
Almost 30 years ago I coached Boy George in rugby at Chess Valley Rugby Club, after playing for the U16 XV he left to form his band, believe it or not he kept in touch with me for many years after to keep up with how the club was progressing! (great prop poor singer)
- William Penn is a great place to go for sport if enjoy the customer service which treats you like dirt and charges sky high prices.
- boxing
- Rugby - Chess Valley RFC is Ricky's very own rugby club; check out www.chessvalleyrfc.com
