- I have to recommend the most efficient, non-cowboy plumber i've ever encountered:

- Did you know that some of the Supergirl scenes were filmed in the Masonic School on Chorleywood road . One or two other films were filmed there also but I can't remember their names.
- Valley Road is one of the coldest in England! (Check - and it is)
- Rickmansworth is a part of Watford, and if not its a boring dive like Hemel Hempstead.
- One less than interesting point: the scene in "Robin Hood, prince of Thieves" where Duncan and Marian get on a boat at the lake was also filmed at the Aquadrom in Rickmansworth
- Rickmansworth is famous. It appears in the opening lines of "The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy":
"And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, one girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in RICKMANSWORTH suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything. Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terribly stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever." Rickmansworth inspires that kind of thinking. Rickmansworth is also famous for being in two Goodies episodes, the most notable of which included a scene where Graham Garden "walked" a very large aquatic beast around one of the lakes at the Aquadrome.
- Rickmansworth is a beautiful town about 17 miles outside of London, you can access it very easily from the M25.
