Pubs in Ringwood, Hampshire*

The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call

You can tell us more about Ringwood.

Pubs
  • white heart, alice lisle, elm tree
  • best pub in the furlong the worst is the poulner white hart whitch is full of cackers.
  • The Star - no smoking bar at the front. No swearing, belching, breathing or having a good time allowed. Better atmosphere at local chapel of rest!
  • The London Tavern, Poulner, is under new management and there have been improvements to the nature and availability of food since the beginning of June 2002, e.g. Sunday Carvery.
  • The Hunters Lodge, Southampton Rd. Only regular karaoke in Ringwood, good fun on a Saturday night. The Sunday night quiz arguably the best around.
  • The Sanctuary has - although not many know it - a lovely upstairs which has sofas and is generally a relaxed bit of space to enjoy the company of your chosen companion. Really quiet, so if you fancy a bit of time away from the hoards at Finn McGauls then try this. Very nice - but don't tell everyone or it'll end up packed like everywhere else!
  • The Alice Lisle is a great pub with two bars, one is full of families and the other for the locals, strict on under age, always asking for ID. My mum and Dad eat there all the time, they say its great.
  • The Alice Lisle is a fantastic pub with brilliant landlord/landlady who will never try to rip you off you have to visit it once thats enough
  • White Hart - Young clientel! ( 18+ of course )Horrible Beer - stick to Bottle ( You will thank me if you do ) Inn on the Furlong - Mature ( 40+ ) But excellent beer ( from Ringwood Brewery ) Can hide in Beer garden out back Fin McCauls - Mixed - New pub for decor see any other Irish Bar in the country !
  • The white Hart is cool, or Finn McCauls on the other side, nice snacks
